We establish and sign -off a coaching contract with the person to be coached: this ensures the conditions for successful coaching are put in place and typically includes, outline for the coaching sessions, what we can expect from each other, confidentiality arrangements and success criteria.

      We coach and where required mentor and train the person being coached. Our focus is on helping them find their own solutions and strategies. We agree an approach for accountability and develop commitment to application. The discoveries and advances made by the person being coached are often far greater than those anticipated in the expectations and set-up stage.

      We have follow up conference calls, to discuss progress, results and challenges. We hold to account as agreed and explore any challenges experienced.

      Evaluation

      We remind the person being coached to take personal responsibility for evaluating their own progress. Where requested we solicit feedback on progress and results from key stakeholders and support the person being coached gather evidence of progress and success.

    • Progress

      Progress

      We agree the best approach to support for on-going progress with the manager/ sponsor of the person being coached. We focus on alignment of expectations into the future and work with the person being coached to develop their own personal strategies and plans for their development into the future.

    • Embed Skills

      Embed Skills

      We send on appropriate support materials, often including ‘snippets’ encouraging application of specific methods and strategies in the work place. We actively encourage sponsor / manager interest in the progress, results and support of the person being coached.

      Next

      Often progress and results are such that the coaching programme can be completed early. Sometimes further sessions are required and we are happy to discuss our recommendations.
